In fact it's the ONLY patented ignition rotor in the world!

Patented for it's absolute 1 degree indexing ability - without trying to read inaccurate "hash" marks like other adjustable advancers AND the unique internal adj. screw  - there are NO exposed screws to loosen and fall out inside the engine like ALL other adjustable ignition rotors!
Adjust for best throttle response for your engine combination. Absolutely required if you have high compression or porting on your engine!
(We aren't falling for the other adj. ign. rotor manufacturer's "loctite the adjustment screws so they don't fall out..." suggestion!)

It is called a "RaceKit" because there is some modifications done to the carb body that should be done by an experienced mechanic / tuner - It is not a "drop-in / no drilling required" kit, like the Config 10 and the Ti ProKits are.
Topend peak power gains are in the area of 2-3 hp and power is improved 5-6 at high rpm, past the power peak. In other words, the kit, decreases the effect of the 13.5k+ indicated rpm power drop off that is built into the stock carburetor components.

Tuning Notes:

Needles:
Early F4's were jetted too rich on the needle. The needle supplied in the kit was a 0985f-91k-44r - it's a bit leaner in the midrange - at full throttle.
Now, some F4's like that needle and are easily tunable. Great!
Now - on the other hand, some F4's are NOT too rich in the full throttle / 5k-7k rpm band......
Those? Well, for those, there's a richer needle available under the needle exchange program.

All power products are developed on the Factory Pro EC997a Low Inertia Load Dyno for .1hp resolution for maximum performance.
For the best in tuning - locate the Factory Pro Dyno Center nearest you.
They will have the latest Factory Pro CBR600fi products first!
To diagnose rich or lean conditions, comparing Factory Pro's Eddy Current Sweep and Eddy Current Step Tests will allow, even without an exhaust gas analyzer, you to diagnose many rich and lean carburetion problems.

To do these tests, you must have load conditions that are equal, as far as the engine is concerned, to get comparable information. Factory Pro is the only company that specializes in tuning and has empirically derived more than one formula to do this.

Generally, if other dyno companies are asked, they respond with "We can do that" or "You don't need to do that." Not acceptable. Your dyno manufacturer should be able to help tune.

Companies with add-on "retarders" bolted onto high inertia systems cause excess engine wear when testing.

Eddy Current dynamometer systems must be originally designed as low inertia systems so as to not cause excess engine wear.

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
