Pro Shift Kit   for  Triumph 800 Twins

(the microbearing arm and spring kit)

Virtually eliminate missed shifts.
By reducing friction, shifts are easier to make.
By adding some spring rate, shifts are quicker to make.
Make your twin shift better than a new bike.

Easier and quicker upshifts, decreased shift lever travel, fewer missed shifts and quick downshifts.

This is the spring that makes the difference.
Track and street.

Finger and screwdriver adjustable extended Fuel Screw assembly

Frustrated with trying to find an "almost 90 degree"  screwdriver to fine adjust your fuel screw for best idle and cruise?
Use Factory Pro's new "finger adjustable" fuel screw to adjust fuel screw for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.

Make your life easier.

Installation:
Remove old short stock fuel screw, old o-ring, old washer and old spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so take a light and make sure it's really out  (or you can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the old parts for "spares".

Screw assembly kit comes with:
2  new extended screws
2  new springs
 2 new washers
2  new o-rings

The "800" Triumphs are wonderful, modern renditions of the early "unit" and "pre-unit" "Bonnies" and "America's" - were always known as one of the best handling bikes in the 50's, 60's and 70's.
Smoother (!!) and more reliable bikes than the early golden days of motorcycling - a recommended bit of updated twin nostalgia - The larger Thruxton's and T100 tune the same.

Best (only?) "drop-in" kit available. Nice even power improvement.

Not really fussy about main jet selection (other than the bike loses 1 hp on either side of the perfect, best main jet). Needle height is pretty cut and dried, with little fiddling required, from what we've seen and heard.

Nice kit and easy to install - a genuine pleasure to work on a bike that was easy to tune!

As usual, boosts power a bit at full throttle, improves throttle response and wheelie ability. Definitely pulls harder out of 2nd and 3rd gear corners. Gets rid of that pesky flat spot at low rpm, when properly setup.

Tech notes:
Fuel level controls carburetion richness at full throttle / 3000 rpm and below and at cruise.
Before you say "I don't give it full throttle at 3000 rpm", it also controls overall richness at cruise..... (aka... mileage.....). If your mileage is poor, you should probably try doing a full throttle roll-on from 2500 to 3000 rpm.
The bike should pull, cleanly from 2500 rpm or so, in at least in 3rd gear. The higher the gear, the more correct the mixture has to be.
Using an EC997 dyne System, as are at Factory Pro Tuning Centers, that would have been tested in the usual Step Test range.
CO% should be DEF. less than 6% and likely in the 4% to 5% range for that low of an rpm.
If the bike bucks and stumbles, it's probably too rich and you should lower the fuel level (adjust floats leaner) in 1mm increments to attain best full throttle / 3000 rpm operation.
Magically, your mileage will improve and you'll retain the best midrange acceleration.

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
