STD High Speed Cooling Systems

NOT dependant on roller hp.
(standard Hi Speed fans deliver 80mph each)

This is a well used set of fans - at least 3 years old.
Note that the fans' air intake is ducted to external air.

You absolutely NEVER, EVER  want to use dyno room air to cool the vehicle. Doing so changes the air temperature very quickly in the room, quicker than the air temp sensors, due to their mass, however small, can react. That changes the corrected HP AND more importantly, the required AF ratio.

Correction Factors DO NOT correct improper AF ratios - so, the test will contain erroneous data. It may even, if you are extremely careful, be relatively repeatable erroneous data. But still, wrong and misleading if you are trying to tune in .2hp resolotion on a 100hp vehicle.

Air Cooled Eddy Current Dynamometers make heat from absorbing power, engines make waste heat that is dissipated into the room.

Do not use dyno room air to cool the engine or to pressurize the airbox.
