This kit gives more power everywhere, as compared to stock airbox or any Config 10 / Stage 1 kit.
This is also one of the few "Config 30" kits that still uses the airbox - not individual air filters, like other #30 kits. The airbox lid is modified for increased air intake.

The first rotors, in 1987, were made were made by welding up material on the edge of the stock trigger points, then hand grinding a duplicate edge and trimming the trailing edge to a perfect 2.5mm trigger point. It took 3 hours to make the first one!

Note- This kit will NOT fix rounded gear engagement dogs! It will help damage NOT occur to good gears caused by missing shifts.
The same kit that most AMA teams used "back in the day".

Requires clutch assembly removal - including complete clutch basket's big nut. An air or electric impact wrench is "the way" to go.
A shop would bill 2-2.5 hours.

A great time to do this is when you are replacing clutch plates as you are "right there".
