Suzuki GSXR 1100, (86) 87 - 88 years only
(some countries also 86)
  Factory Pro Series "S08"

The Carb Recal Kit and the Ignition Advance Rotor perks up the low-end and midrange power and response for quicker warm-up and more response. The Transmission Detent Spring Kit really puts "snap" into the shifting.

Wheelsmith Racing / Factory Pro's rider Australian Ian Pero won the 1987 750 Suzuki Cup Championship at a rainy Riverside Raceway in southern California. Ian was credited with 2nd in the rained out 1100 Cup race as it was raining and a short part of the track was 1 foot underwater.
My 3 riders were the only guys who wanted to ride in the rain, but, all of the rest of the riders the riders voted to not ride... So.... Doug Polin "won" the 1100cc race by virtue of him having a slightly quicker dry qualifying race.

"Long Boy"

Finger adj. extended Fuel Screw Kit

Frustrated with trying to find an "almost 90 degree"  screwdriver to fine adjust your fuel screws for best idle and cruise?
Use Factory Pro's new "finger adjustable" fuel screws to adjust fuel screws for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.

Knurled for easy finger adjust for fuel or weather or altitude or highway cruising mileage.
Straight knurled for pushing with a flat bladed screwdriver if your hand doesn't fit.
Screwdriver slotted for if you want to use a short, normal sized or right angled screwdriver (so a shop mechanic is happy).

Make your life easier.

Installation:
Remove old short stock fuel screws, old o-rings, old washers and old spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so, take a light and make sure it's really out if it didn't come out with the screw (or you can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the old parts for "spares".

New fuel screw kit comes with:
4 Long Boy fuel screws
 4 new o-ring
4 new washer
4 new spring

NOTE!
Factory Pro has NOT tested this kit on the early 1100 - you'll be doing some "start from scratch" jetting -  but, I don't think that it'll be very hard, if you know something about jetting. Marc

Letters:

Subject: I called you last week

...to whine about the 36mm CV carbs that I was trying to tune on my `86 GSXR-1100.  LOL

...and after all the playing around that I did, I finally have it about as good as it's going to get - oddly enough, I arrived right back at the base-settings from the jet-kit (or very nearly so).

Main - #152.5
float-level 15mm
pilots-OEM (I forget what size OEM is)
fuel/air-screws - 3 1/2 turns
needles - clip#2 (from the top)
slide-holes - unrestricted
UNI "pod" filters installed (no airbox)
YOSHIMURA 4-into-1 exhaust system (street, with yosh can).
+3 degrees (over OEM) static ignition advance

The 36mm carbs are originally removed from my `89 GSXR-1100 and have your carb-kit "config-3.0" in them from that bike.  I'm in Kent, WA wich is nearly sea-level and it's been dry and temps in the 70's (occasional 80's) during all of my tuning-experiments.

...the emulsion-tubes are brand-new OEM parts, and the valve-lash is set to the "big" side of the OEM spec.  I used the rubber "boots" that were originally meant for the 34mm OEM carbs, but the 36's fit in there after a lot of pushing and shoving (new, larger hose-clamps are necessary).  The biggest trouble is that the OEM petcock only has one outlet, so I had to switch that out(I used the OEM from a later model GSXR, but plan on installing a pingel as soon as UPS delivers it to me).

The bike works pretty well... I don't have access to a dyno so I use a moderately-steep hill near my house to do full-throttle "chops" on and then read the plugs.  It passes all the tests in your tuning guide, and the mains produce the best top-speed available up the hill.  I was expecting to get better results... not that I'm unhappy with the bike... I just kept expecting to get the scary-torque at 4-5K like the 1127 motor makes... and I've reached the conclusion that the 1052 just isn't going to do evil, unintentional first-gear wheelies like the 1127 does.  It *does* pull quite well in the upper revs... feels like a super-bad-*ssed 750 more than a liter-bike though.

ANYway, that's the good, bad, and ugly about it - I thought you might like to know so you can add it to your database.

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
