GSF1200 Bandit
1200 Factory Pro was
the first company to develop the individual air filter setup (AKA "pods")
for the Bandit. Drawing on their history of tuning GSXR1100 engines,
they worked with Straightline
Racing in the UK to produce the #30 kit - only a couple of months
after the bike was released! Wonderful power improvements. Factory Pro
was also the first company to test and produce the Ignition Advance
Rotor (at +5 degrees). Later, others copied - but, hey - We'll just
raise the ante! |

Trans Detent Arm Kit
You ever miss second gear? Ouch! -
poor bike! Miss it hard once and you bend the shift fork a little bit.
Every time you miss that gear, the shift the fork bends a little bit
more. Eventually, you will have to replace the 2nd gear fork, the gear
that that the fork slides into and the gear that the sliding gear mates
to! Bummer. |

![]() The stock Bandit 1200 needle jets (incorporated into the top of the emulsion tube on the 36mm Mikuni carb) wear out in as little as 5000 miles of "in town" driving on Mikuni carbs, causing excess fuel delivery that cannot be compensated for by lowering the fuel level. Generally, if your bike has 10,000+ miles and the mileage is very poor, the needle jets / emulsion tubes are the first thing to replace to get back to "like new" mileage. Check out emuworn.html for more needle jet wear information. $112 set of 4 pieces UK buyers: Possible purchase Direct from Straightline Racing |

Mikuni: replacement main jets |
While
we try to include enough jets in our carb recalibration kits to tune
stock-engined bikes, you Bandit guys - sometimes you just can't resist
tinkering for a bit more power - and that usually means that you need
different pilot and or main jets. We have them in stock and ship daily! |

TL-float height gauge $49.95 USD |
The only way to accurately measure float heights. Works on nearly every carburetor. Float height measurement affects the fuel level in a carb - Fuel level controls the amount of fuel that the carb delivers at low rpm and cruise. | ||||

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935.
Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a
successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the
advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to
that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in
normal use but well preserved. Edited to the tunes of Chemical Residue by Herbie Hancock. |

Maybe in next rewrite, he'll fix the ignition timing and dyno chapters... Otherwise great book with great starting ideas. |
